Join Summit County Public Health, Song for Charlie, and XFoundation for a meaningful evening of connection, education, and hope in recognition of National Fentanyl Awareness Day.
This free community event brings together local organizations, community members, and subject matter experts to address the growing impact of fentanyl and support prevention efforts across Summit County.
The evening will begin with a community resource fair and light appetizers, offering attendees the opportunity to connect with local organizations and learn about available support services. The program will continue with a screening of La Estrella, a powerful short film that explores the realities of fentanyl and its impact on individuals and families.
Following the film, a moderated panel discussion will feature experts and individuals with lived experience. Together, they will explore topics including prevention, reducing stigma, community response, and pathways to healing. Audience members will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A.
This event is designed to:
